Homes for the Gary Land Company (Part 2)

This is a continuation of a previous blog post about homes that J. L. Silsbee designed in Gary Indiana.  The second model of home he designed for the Kirk Yards area is perhaps the simplest one; perhaps the simplest home design Silsbee ever did.  It is a side gable home with no front dormer and a small porch.  The example in my photo bears little resemblance to the original home, seen here in the U. S. Steel Photo Archive.
