15th Precinct Police Station

In 1893, Silsbee was commissioned by the City of Chicago for the design of two police stations. One of them still survives on Chicago's far South Side.  Overall, it is a simple brick building accented with bands of limestone and limestone quoins..  The entry is marked with a large arch with carved detailing in accent blocks and coping above.
